Reduce dust with ComfortStall

Reduce dust in your stable with ComfortStall

Sealed flooring system

The ComfortStall flooring system has been used in the recovery stables at the top 3 veterinary hospital Cornell University ever since it was installed in 2007. Today up to six horses a day undergo surgery, and afterwards, every one of them recovers on ComfortStall flooring.

Being a sealed impermeable flooring system, stable air quality is greatly improved, reducing the chances of airway inflammation such as Inflammatory Airway Disease.

Ammonia off-gasing

In addition to dust and its effects, stables can also be a 'Petri dish' for ammonia build up and its harmful off-gases. Traditional stable mats have seams and gaps which allow urine to seep through, decompose to form urea which gives off ammonia.

"The inhalation of high concentrations of ammonia in air causes immediate burning of the nose, throat and respiratory tract. This can cause bronchiolar and alveolar edema, and airway destruction resulting in respiratory distress and failure." New York State Department of Health

By using ComfortStall, which is completely impermeable, it is possible to eliminate this major source of equine and human ill-health.
